When you're a leggy blonde working in fashion, meeting guys generally isn't a problem. 'Course, that doesn't mean Whitney Port can just snap her fingers and make Mr. Right appear. With Whit's crazy busy sched, it could be a couple years before she bumps into her future hubby (at a bookstore! or a Starbucks! or a party thrown by mutual friends!). Til then, she's gotta do what the rest of us do: keep putting herself out there! Even if that DOES mean going on blind dates and (occasionally) getting played by guys like Fred Facks.
Anyhow, watch as Whit courageously(!) goes out with a complete and total stranger while Roxy discovers that her new man crush is already seeing other people -- right in front of her face. Plus, head over to Elle country to hear Erin 'splain why she's officially over holding Olivia's hand.

Celebrities get stopped on the street by their fans on a near-daily basis -- and City star Whitney Port is no exception. The weird part? A lot of the peeps who approach her seem to have her confused with someone else! Earlier this week, Whit told the UK's Daily Mail that she's been mistaken for both Ivanka Trump and Katherine Heigl in the past, so we thought we'd round up pics of all three girls and find out if you guys see the resemblance.
+ Think Whit might be secretly related to The Donald? Or is she one scalpel away from getting cast on Grey's Anatomy? Take the poll and tell us which of Whitney Port's fellow celebrities looks the most like her!

Last week on The City, Roxy Olin was quietly riding along in Sam's automobile when suddenly she started sticking her head out the sunroof and talking about her vajayjay tat. A wild moment for sure, but apparently, Rox was just kidding! The ink's not, like, directly ON her crotch. It's actually about two inches above it. TOTALLY different story.
"I have a tattoo on my hip bone," Roxy told NYMag.com when asked about her Hamptons joyride, "but I was joking, and [MTV] didn't show the humor in it at all." According to Roxy, it's of angel wings, "like right above" her crotch.
Still, Roxy's fam wasn't exactly thrilled by all the talk about her unmentionables. "I felt really bad for my grandparents," she admitted. "They liked [that] episode a lot. But afterward, I was like, 'I'm so sorry about the crotch comment.' But they didn't write me back yet."

Whitney and Roxy might've spent most of their time in Miami arguing (and racking up a hefty room service bill), but it wasn't all work and no play for the City pals! In between exchanging dirty looks, the girls actually managed to sneak in some fun in the sun, take in a couple shows and get all decked out for Erin Kaplan's Xtra Life LYCRA party (above, right).

Lately, we haven't held back from praising Kelly Cutrone and her take-no-BS, tough talkin' ways. But there is one minor thing we've left out (due to fear of possibly having our lives ruined): There's NO CHANCE in hell we'd want to work for her. (Please Kelly, don't be mad. You wouldn't want to hire us anyway. We wear Gap.)
Let us explain. It's not that we don't use Kel as our model for runnin' s**t and ALWAYS gettin' the job done. It's just that we're still working on thickening our skin (slash laughing it off when our boss implies we suck and are easily replaceable). Being yelled at is really not our cup of tea; however, we simply can't imagine a world in which we didn't get to hear the Scary Boss Lady go off on her employees at any moment. (We are voyeurs by occupation, you see.)
Whitney and Roxy took soooo many hits tonight -- partly because Rox couldn't control her mox -- but we want to know your favorite chew-out. Take a look at some of KC's best quotes from the latest episode of The City and tell us the one that had you thinking, "I will never take for granted my quiet desk job. Ever. Again."

Joe Zee may be Mr. Important at Elle, but as far as bossing people around goes, he's kind of a softie. Not only has the giggly admin given Olivia Palermo at least a zillion redos, but he's also politely ignored Erin Kaplan's smirking habit -- and taken next-to-no notice of the ladies' constant sniping. So we were thrown for a little bit of a loop tonight when Joe (finally) emerged from his non-confrontational cocoon -- and scolded Team Erivia with all the fury (but none of the f-bombs) of a cray cray Kelly Cutrone.
So what'd you think of Joe's unexpected outburst? Well, after we got over the initial shock of seeing the stylish supervisor explode, we silently applauded him for taking charge -- and for holding BOTH Liv and Erin responsible for dropping the ball. Much as we love watching the man giggle, we'd rather see him put an end to all the pettiness by giving his girls a stern ultimatum: either find a way to work together, or find somewhere else to work!
+ Think Joe Zee's tongue lashing was too little too late? Or were you floored by the creative director's moxie? Take the poll and tell us what you thought of Joe's bitchy blowup on The City!

In a juicy, no-holds-barred interview with the UK's Daily Mail, City girl Whitney Port explains what it's like to be a shy, "non-attention seeking person" starring on an MTV reality show. Among the topics du jour? Whit opens up about having "fat days," feeling out of place on The Hills and having a lingering obsession with Jay Lyon's music.
We've laid out our five favorite quotes below (including the part where Whit describes costar Olivia Palermo as "difficult, cold and aloof"), so read on to hear Whitney dish the dirt about being in the spotlight.
On getting overshadowed by her Hills costars:
"[W]hen I was on The Hills, there wasn’t a focus on me, I just got on with my day job. But I became genuine friends with Lauren [Conrad] and I got to know the gang – Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, etc – who were already well-known. But in terms of attention, I just wasn’t in their league."
On how she ended up with her own spinoff:
"I think [MTV] recognized that I am a neutral person, that they could base The City on me and I’d be the solid one, the one that people could relate to. And I gave them a disclaimer; I said, 'If you guys are looking for me to start the dramas, then I’m not that person.'"

Olivia Palermo was looking very Blair Waldorfish at last week's You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence book launch, so it's only fitting she ran into real-life Gossip Girls Leighton Meester and Nicole Fiscella on her way there! So how'd the City star's style compare to that of her Upper East Side counterparts'? Well, obvs we're a smidge biased, but from where we're sitting, she totally held her own! Nothing against Leighton's electric-print dress and Nicole's sleek LBD/blazer combo, but we adored Liv's giant gem-adorned chain necklace -- and her playful pairing of soft (ruffled peasant blouse) with hard (shiny leather miniskirt).

+ Think Olivia hit it out of the park with her girly/rocker glam? Or are you more into Leighton's I-swear-I'm-not-wrapping-paper print? Sound off in the comments and tell us which fashionista had the best style/inspiration/confidence on the carpet!

If you watched this week's City, then you already know why we're head over heels for Whitney Port's pal Roxy Olin. Not only is this chick frickin' hilarious, but she's also got no prob sayin' exactly what's on her mind. Which is why she's now officially our new go-to gal for long car rides, raunchy tattoo confessionals and awkward public breakups.
And just when we thought we'd seen her whole bag o' tricks, Roxy blew us away by looking ab fab at Isaac Mizrahi's launch party Wednesday night. (The best part? She actually skipped out early to run home and watch the Yanks win the World Series! Our kinda girl!) Anyhow, check out these pics of the brassy brunette workin' it in head-to-toe black, and tell us whether you're lurving her as much as we are!

What's next for Whitney Port? Well, now that she's back to being single on The City, we figured she'd have lots more time to spend sketching, doing extra credit assignments and getting herself back on Kelly Cutrone's good side. But based on these scenes from next week's City, it'll be all Whitney can do to keep her job.
Next Tuesday, a misunderstanding between Whit and Roxy gets the girls into about-to-be-fired territory with the scary boss lady. Meanwhile, Olivia and Erin's constant bickering has Joe Zee ready to crack the whip! In this video, find out whose jobs (and friendships) are in serious jeopardy, plus get a sneak peek of what happens when you incite the wrath of Kelly Cutrone.
