Last week, Olivia Palermo attended the Manhattan launch party for Timex Originals at the ultra-swanky department store, Henri Bendel. The "City" star posed for paps in a peasant top with delicate lace around the neckline, a multicolored skirt bursting with rich, golden hues and some awesome cut-out Elizabeth and James wedge booties. Her color palate of choice was a bit reminiscent of something she wore earlier this year at -- where else -- Bendel's. Maybe reddish-gold is de rigueur on 5th Ave?

Whitney Port has come a long way since the days when she was trapped in an intern closet at Teen Vogue. After leaving the security of La La Land to explore the gritty streets of New York City, she -- with the guidance of boss-lady Kelly Cutrone -- utilized her People's Rev PR skills and became a go-getting fashion designer that speaks her mind, à la her mentor. So what else does this always-evolving trendsetter have up her polka-dotted sleeves?

Yesterday, Whit wrote on her blog that she was getting prepped for her Maxim photo shoot (yes, this Maxim). "I've always been classified as the cutesy, girl-next-door type, so doing this shoot will give me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and show people an entirely different side of me," Port shared on her site before posting a few come-hither poses (check 'em out here). Can't wait to see the pics, Whit!

Whitney Port's a fearless dresser that's never been shy about mixing up a few patterns, and on Tuesday, she upped the optical ante while hanging out on trendy Robertson Blvd. with her boyfriend, Ben Nemtin. (Yep, they're still going strong!) Whit totally rocked a Magic Eye black and white zig-zag dress with booties and a chain-strap bag. (If you stare long enough at her frock you'll see a sailboat!)

The last time we checked in with style maven Olivia Palermo, she was making her rounds at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, but she's back in New York now, looking as stylish as ever. Earlier this week, "The City" star and her boyfriend, Johannes Huebl, attended The Cinema Society screening of "The Big C" at Donna Karan's house in East Hampton, New York. She looked absolutely elegant in her red Susan Woo blouse with cutout shoulders, floral skirt and Sturdy French Sole flats.

If you're ever lucky enough to bump into Whitney Port, you'll probably see her boasting an infectious grin (unless, of course, she's fighting with her ex-roomie Roxy Olin, or trying to single-handedly dominate the fashion industry). Over the weekend, she kicked her facial expressions up a notch and sported a huge kid-in-a-candy-shop smile while she -- you guessed it -- stopped by a candy shop. "The City" star happily perused the lollipops at the Sugar Factory in Las Vegas, looking adorbs in her feminine floral dress, intricate chain-inspired necklace and flip-flops.

Roxy Olin might be a rash decision-maker, but that has nothing to do with her knack for dressing stylish (or captivating an army of photographers). Earlier this month, "The City" star attended a screening of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in New York City. There, she showed off her sunkissed glow in an of-the-moment bronze ensemble. Rox rocked a low-cut bandage dress, printed paisley blazer and brick red pumps.

Jet-setting Olivia Palermo's been making the rounds throughout the European fashion circuit. In Berlin to celebrate the Michalsky Style Nite for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, she and mega-hottie boyfriend Johannes Huebl flaunted their fashion sense for the cameras. "The City" star (and new face of ELLE.com) looked super stylish in her sheer polka-dot Michalsky dress, Chrissie Morris for Michalsky strappy stilettos and show-stopping Sondra Roberts rose clutch.

We doubted Olivia Palermo would make it this far, but on the season finale of "The City," she proved herself to be a strong asset and Joe Zee named her the perfect face of ELLE.com. Of course, not everyone at the magazine was happy with his decision, and Seth went so far as to suggest that Erin might leave. Meanwhile, Olivia looked positively jubilant in her bright, yellow dress. Go to ELLE.com to get Olivia’s sunny look.

On tonight's season finale of "The City," Olivia Palermo came to work and learned that Joe Zee crowned her the new(?) face of ELLE.com. 'Course, Erin Kaplan and her new office buddy Seth appeared pretty livid with Joe's decision, but there was simply nothing they could do -- runner-up Louise Roe was leaving for a hosting gig in L.A. (Perhaps that influenced Joe's decision?). Alas, Erin's plan to send Olivia on a one-way flight to Japan had failed.

+ Now that Olivia's British competition is out of the picture, do you think she'll step up her game and keep killing it, or will she slack off seeing that her job at ELLE is now secure? Take the poll and weigh in!

Tonight's episode of "The City" was a bit like watching a battle of the publicists: In one end of the ring stood Kelly Cutrone, the sharp-tongued PR veteran who always dresses down in black and can smell BS comin' from a mile away; on the other side sat Alison Brod, a prim and proper profesh who loves the color pink and gumballs. Ignoring their color preferences for a sec, let's compare their Whitney Eve strategizing: Cutrone produced Whitney's fashion show in the prestigious Bryant Park tents while Brod promised coverage in super-posh outlets like Hamptons magazine. Kelly told Whit slow and steady wins the race, while Alison pushed for a full-on media blitz.

+ Both Kelly and Alison run successful PR houses and have a laundry list of high-profile clients, but whose style do you like better? Take the poll and let us know if you're more of a "Dark Knight" or "Pretty In Pink" public relations fan.
