It's a sad day for "Taking the Stage" fans because as of tonight, Season 2 is finito. But that doesn't mean we have to stop daydreaming about ballerinas and bboys! Join us as we relive our top 5 most memorable moments from the past season.

Moment No. 1: Ian's payback-is-a-bitch rap
Why It Stood Out: During Ian's Monster Mash party, he grabbed the mic and dissed Adam. Of course, he was only doing it to get Adam back for singing "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" in front of the entire school (which included girlfriend Emily).
What You Thought: 59 percent of you said that Adam was in the wrong for clowning Ian on stage, so we guess he had it coming.

Moment No. 2: Tyler rocking his "Stomp The Yard 2" audition
Why It Stood Out: Ty had a life-changing opportunity in front of him, and up until the last minute we had absolutely no idea whether or not he was going to pursue the movie biz or return to the 'nati.
What You Thought: Almost 70 percent of you said that Ty screwed the pooch and totally should have bailed on "Fame." Good thing he got another shot at Hollywood!

Moment No. 3: Adam's performance of "She's The Brave One"
Why It Stood Out: Um, we nearly ran out of tissues listening to the heartfelt ballad about his grandmother.
What You Thought: At the start of Season 2, 46 percent of you said that this singing cowboy's talent impressed you the most.

Moment(s) No. 4: Emily Silber and Tyler's budding romance
Why It Stood Out: It was like watching the quarterback date the captain of the cheerleading squad, except in a much more digestible context.
What You Thought: 57 percent of you saw their breakup coming from the beginning.

Moment No. 5: Emily Sones' Homecoming heartbreak
Why It Stood Out: Not that we're supportive of poorly timed breakups, but when Ian dumped Emily, we were a wee bit anxious to see what the newly single bird would go do next.
What You Thought: 60 percent of you were itchin' for them to end things so Emily could get with Adam.

Tonight's season finale of "Taking the Stage" was brimming with all sorts of juicy high school drama. From The Dance Crew Competition, hosted by "8 Mile" SCPA's hypeman Ian, to Carlton and Anna's already-over relationship, there wasn't a slow moment.

We've been silently cheering on lovesick Carlton this entire time, so the fact that Anna called things off 'cuz he flew in for a smooch really bums us out, but we can't really blame the girl for sticking to her guns. We are, however, not-so-silently jumping in our seats about Emily Sones and Adam. He got his guitar strings caught in a sticky situation the last few episodes, but after dedicating some smooth tunes to Em on her birthday, it looks like the cowboy might've dug himself completely out of the hole.

+ Should Emily forgive Adam and agree to be more than friends, or do you think she'll just get hurt? Take the poll!

On tonight's season finale of "Taking The Stage," we watched a cacophony of high school drama go down, but in between the battles and breakups there were also a few top-notch performances.

Wish you could've seen the entire Dance Crew Competition, or just haven't had your fill of Adam's sultry voice? Check out these two exclusive performances of both Tyler and Adam doing what they do best: killin' it. We're gonna miss these guys!

Whether you tune in to "Taking the Stage" for the dancing or the drama, it doesn't really matter ...  because you'll usually be able to find both. (FYI -- we def tune in for the drams!) So just what kind of high school he said/she said tugs at our heartstrings? The relationships, of course!

We've rounded up the top sorta-couples from this season, and now it's up to you to vote for your favorite twosome.

EMILY SILBER and TYLER
Why they work: They're a powerhouse dancing duo and have a captivating onstage presence.
Why they don't: Em and Tyler are both so flippin' stubborn! Neither of them is ever willing to back down and admit he or she is wrong, or sorry.

CARLTON and ANNA
Why they work: Anna's always in Carlton's corner when he needs help perfecting his moves, and he's always boosting her up when her confidence is low.
Why they don't: She's been wearing the pants in their not-relationship since day one. He needs to man up and grab the reigns if he wants to really break out of the friend zone.

EMILY SONES and IAN
Why they work: Ian's a total charmer, and Emily seems to always have a good time when she's with him.
Why they don't: Ian made it clear last week that he's not cut out to be a one-woman man (plus, for a rapper his timing totally stinks).

EMILY SONES and ADAM
Why they work: Her smooth voice might be the only thing to rid him of his cowboy blues.
Why they don't: When Emily was dating Ian, Adam morphed into a creepy hater.

So who's your favorite duo? Take the poll and let us know which lovebirds are a sure bet!

Tyler was all about his school dance crew when Columbus Short was en route to SCPA, but now that he's a big-time silver-screen stomper, will he leave his peeps in the dust?

Check out this sneak peek, where Aris confronts Ty about his laid-back attitude toward rehearsals. Their upcoming performance is Aris' last big hurrah -- will Tyler step up as a friend and lose the 'tude? Tune in to the season finale Thursday at 11/10c to find out!

On tonight’s episode of “Taking the Stage,” Ian proved that young love just blows. Fed up with all of the he said/she said, Emily Sones decided to ask him for clarity. But Ian's a tough cookie to crack, and he just dribbled out some mucky rationalization about girls being girls. For some reason, Em rolled with it.

Soon after, the couple walked arm in arm together to homecoming, but all it took was one flash of a strobe light for Ian to drop Em in search of -- what else? -- girls. Hours later, he pried himself off some baby's-got-backside to have "the talk" with Emily. (Oh, dagger to the heart.)

+ Emily handled herself gracefully, but it was obvious she was bummed out by the breakup. Think she's better off without him? Take the poll!

Even though Tyler and Emily Silber broke up, girl's not letting that get in the way of her happiness. Maybe she's taking a cue from I-gotta-do-me Ty because she's been really focused on her career lately, too.

Check out this bonus interview, where the dancer talks about her future Broadway aspirations, as well as some high-profile productions that inspire her.

Carlton could teach his "Taking the Stage" friends a thing or two about patience. For some time now, he's held back his feelings for Anna in order to play the part of the laid-back buddy. But it looks like he's ready to shed that role.

Check out this sneak peek, where Carlton brings Anna a gorgeous bouquet of roses right before curtain call. She immediately blushes -- but will flowers be enough for her to pluck Carlton out of the friend zone? Tune in Thursday at 11/10c to find out.

What do you do when you've completely given up hope in other people? Well, SCPA alum Mia Carruthers takes to the piano. Inspired by an unwillingness to let discouragement eat her up, she wrote an original song called "Nothing To Believe In." Check it out.

Tyler met an incredibly difficult dilemma on tonight’s episode of "Taking The Stage." He was offered a larger role in "Stomp the Yard 2," but pursuing it would have prevented him from honoring his commitment to SCPA and his classmates. Faced with the predicament (and given only 24 hours to make a decision), he called his girlfriend Emily Silber for some advice. But as we saw in last week's sneak peek, she totally checked out of the convo.

Tyler wound up returning to school just in time for the final week of "Fame" rehearsals. Do you think he missed out on a huge opportunity by coming back to school? Take the poll!
