Sure, Jazmin's the one who drew the designs, sewed the labels, coordinated the makeup/hair and sent the models down the runway (great job, btw!) -- but her BFF Morgan was there to offer help, hugs and heartfelt encouragement every step of the way. Not only did girl track down the "missing" boots (who would've thought to look in the shoebox!?) but she even kept Jaz from freaking out with a pre-show prayer. And that flawless intro/post-show ("I love you!") pep talk had us wishing every girl had a Morgan!
Jazmin, you were obvs the star of the show tonight, but we wanted to give your bestie props for sticking by your side (and making you look so great!). Love the clothes, the attitude AND the teamwork. Let's hear it for Team Awesome!

Last week, Jazmin endured moody models, a no-alcohol scare and the lecherous giggles of the old guys at the button store. This week, she had so many things on her plate it made our heads spin. Fabric-eating moth? Check. Stubborn model friend with hot pink highlights? Check. A near-disastrous model casting, a nonexistent Look Book, a zillion labels to sew and a totally stressed-out mom? Quadruple check.

We liked Jazmin pretty much from the moment we laid eyes on her. But as we watched her sketch, scout out Coco Chanel-inspired buttons and fend off PMS-y models, all we could think was yes, but can the girl design!? Turns out, she's got it covered. Not only was the show was a HUGE hit (L.A. Fashion Week, here we come!) but it was almost as entertaining as watching Jazmin's Sicilian grandma force-feed the models!

On tonight's House of Jazmin premiere, you got a glimpse of one regular girl's exciting journey into The Glamorous Life (fashion shows! celeb friends! wicked high heels!). But you also got a whiff of the downside to having a demanding career at such a young age (moody employees! no sleep! heavy lifting!).
We gotta give Jaz AND her awesomely loyal BFF Morgan lotsa credit for maintaining calm under pressure at all times -- it seems like they were meant to be a businesswomen! Monday night's Teen Choice Awards was such a hot event! Some of my favorite stars took home surf boards for their talent, but let's see who rode the fashion wave on the red carpet ... and who totally wiped out.
I have to start with Britney Spears. She looked absolutely amazing in her sparkly, one-shouldered mini. She was glowing! The little black dress (a.k.a. LBD) is always in, and finding one that fits your personal style -- along with your shape -- can have STUNNING results! I've got another option for a little black dress in my line: take a look!
Leighton Meester wore a fun, black and white number with an envelope clutch, and finished it off with gorgeous red patent heels. She looked very pin-up and glamorous -- Meester really knows how to rock this summer look. I have a similar piece in my collection: check it out!
Emma Roberts looked fabulous in this chic ensemble. The beaded neckline adds a high fashion element that most Teen Choice attendees would probably shy away from. Roberts is not afraid to be bold. (If you're the kind of girl that wants to make a statement, then you'll love this look.)

20-year-old Jazmin Whitley (above, left and left!) is a lot like you: she lives at home with her mom and her (occasionally annoying) younger brother, and dreams of making it big someday. Except in her case, she kinda already has. Unlike the rest of us underachievers, girl already has her own fashion line (Li Cari), her own reality tv show (House of Jazmin, premiering August 18th!)
