Life at Pinkerton High is typically a fun time (Max Owens beatdowns aside), so seeing Lily Miran get pummeled by a bus and sink into a coma last week really shocked us all. Luckily, things turned out pretty good for RJ's No. 1 fan.

On tonight's season finale of "Hard Times," RJ was torn between taking his longtime crush Jenny Swanson to the winter formal, or honoring the commitment he made to Lily by sitting at her bedside. Even though his hormones did the picking at first, guilt set in at the dance and he ultimately sprinted back to see do Lily at the hospital (but not before sticking his tongue down Jenny's throat!).

+ Did RJ make the right decision to give his V-Card to Lily, or should he have continued his hallway make-out sesh with Jenny? Take the poll!

There's usually both an easy way and a tough way to go about making a big decision, but neither road guarantees happiness. On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," RJ Berger learned this lesson firsthand when he went for the obvious "yes" by asking stage five clinger klingon-friend Lily Miran to Pinkerton High's winter formal. (He wanted to be deflowered and, well, she does own a T-shirt that says "RJ, I Want You Inside Me.") RJ was Lily's first choice, so her excited response was a no-brainer; however, hours after locking down the date, Jenny Swanson surprisingly presented him with another option: herself.

And then Lily got run over by a bus.

+ Should RJ stick to his initial commitment (and thus spend the formal at Lily's hospital bedside), or ditch his platonic bud to be with his first pick? Take the poll and tell us what path you think RJ should take.

RJ Berger added a smattering of crimes to his rap sheet on tonight's episode of "Hard Times." Convinced that the only remaining way to hook up with his longtime crush, Jenny Swanson, was to ensure that she received an A on her bio test, he and ill-advised Miles came up with a harebrained scheme to steal the answers from their teacher, Mrs. Lipsky. 'Course, the test was inside her home, so they had to enlist the help of Miles' fiery ex-marine brother to break in.

+ Jenny decided not to cheat (thankfully, cuz they copied the wrong flippin' test!), and as a result, she and RJ were the only people that actually passed. RJ sorta-caused everyone to fail ... Do you think he deserved that A-? Take the poll and let us know!

Sometimes in life, you get to a point where you instinctively pull away from certain friends. Whatever the reason may be, it's not uncommon for personalities to shift and for BFFs to become just Fs, or even enemies. On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," we saw our strapping young hero RJ Berger get screwed over by his buddy Miles. Even after explicitly telling him that he didn't want to throw a house party while his parents were out of town, Miles showed up with a crowd of peeps and bum-rushed the door. Then, when RJ had an opportunity to hook up with his faux-babysitter (come on, what nanny drives around in a V8 yellow Corvette?), Miles' need to clean up trash do really gross things to Lily Miran ruined it for everyone.

+ Miles has mislead RJ and gotten him into a variety of hairy situations. Is it time for RJ to find a new bud, or is fighting just all part of a friendship? Take the poll and give us your two cents.

High school rumors can be crushingly painful, especially when they're motivated by jealousy and ill will. But gossipers aren't usually your friends -- they're people who crave attention and drama, which is why we imagine Claire was totally P.O.'d when she discovered that her man RJ was talking.

On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," RJ accidentally told some bullies that Claire had (argh, do we really have to type this?) given him a ... he got to second base with Claire, which of course, was a lie at the time. Instead of fessing up to her and apologizing for making up a hookup story, he waited until it actually happened, which Miles convinced him was less punishable in The Court of Messing Around.

+ Claire was obviously pissed at RJ for kissing and telling (or telling then kissing?). Should he have come clean in the beginning, or was he simply screwed either way? Take the poll and sound off!

Pinkerton High School's Jenny Swanson is obviously a physical beauty. She has flawless skin and fits the "girl next door" mold perfectly. But RJ Berger's actual neighbor Claire seems much more suited for him (plus, hanging out with Claire means less bullying from Max Owens).

On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," our leading man received an uncomfortable sex talk from his pop, which made him believe that hooking up with supposed ugly duckling Claire was exactly what he needed to "prepare" himself for Jenny (just in case he ever got a chance to be with her). Except, once RJ got to know the four-eyed Brit, he kinda fell for her charm.

+ RJ admitted at the end of the episode that he liked Claire (well, he said "clunker"), so should he kick his fantasy of snuggling with Jenny to the curb and pursue the new girl, or should he follow his father's advice and consider Claire a practice run? Take the poll and tell us what you think!

There's no greater self-esteem booster than being adored by someone, especially if they're not afraid to shout their infatuation from the school bleachers (and maybe even build a shrine). But RJ Berger's oddball buddy Lily Miran has decided to prove her fanatical desire for him by taking things to a whole 'nother level species.

The last time Lily turned on her vlog, it was a wee bit intimidating, and now things have gotten even kookier. Check out her video below, where she introduces us to her two new pet Guinea pigs, Lily and RJ (apparently, her worship has manifested itself in the form of rodent love).

High school can be a place riddled with meatheads and mean girls, but normally the gossip mongers are students, not respectable members of the faculty. On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," RJ Berger's longtime crush, Jenny Swanson, publicly broke up with her boyfriend Max Owens because she found someone else's cheesy red underthings stuffed inside his locker. (Shame on you, Coach Sinclair, for planting them there!)

Berger, unable to shed his good guy image, felt it necessary to get to the bottom of the "unidentified undies" case. While he discovered that Max was telling the truth (he didn't cheat), Max still cornered RJ in the library and threatened to kick his butt to the moon if he didn't tell Jenny to take him back. Ass.

+ We love that RJ honors the truth -- honesty is everything -- but did he make the right decision in telling Jenny? Max totally bullied him at school, so should RJ just have let him fend for himself? Take the poll and sound off!

Pinkerton High students might wanna avoid having any sort of contact with Lily Miran on her bad days. Not sure when those are? About every 28 days or so --  that's when she lets her hormones take control and her head spins 'round like Linda Blair in "The Exorcist."

During Lily's monthly "time," you can expect to hear lots of sh** talk flowing from her trap (unless, of course, you're her precious RJ Berger). If you don't believe us, check out Lily's video blog, where she has a total PMS-y day and takes it out on Miles Jenner, Max Owens and Jenny "Perfect Princess" Swanson.

Told you so!

On tonight's episode of "Hard Times," RJ and his best friend Miles found themselves at a tumultuous crossroads when our leading dweeb totally put hos before bros. Instead of joining his partner in crime for a geekafied screening of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," RJ was fast asleep on his bed, exhausted from working like a dog to buy Jenny Swanson a pricey gift. Ready to put an end to the friendship, Miles tried to replace him, but they eventually made up. Cuz that's what good friends do.
